excellent episode. As a Nebraskan transplanted to Dublin, I'd heard variations on this tale before. It's not universal, but the term "Sioux" is considered by a lot of Lakota, Nakota & Dakota (Oceti Sakowin) as derogatory, as it was the name given to them by enemies & not one self-attributed. ✌️
