These roof tiles are made of chestnut wood, they are axed and not sawn, for durability and water resistance. Same tiles as in the Mont Saint Michel oui oui

I started the last step of the cat-thedral construction. The tiles were provided by a French artisan who make traditional wooden roof tiles for... churches and so on.

The roof is still unfinished, but the house survived the storm. The door curtain froze but nothing flew away.
