Day 1166 #CDsOnTheShelf #MusicChallenge #bluegrass Slipping in some 'catch-ups' for a few days. I had the Carter/Grammar on download, but found the CD in the charity shop; have to T Buckley on download, but picked up at his concert. Found Deep Dark Woods on discount at Blackbyrd, & Calvin for $2.

Day 975 #recordsontheshelf #musicchallenge #vinyl Found Sun in the $1 bin @ my fave new shop in #YEG Curmudgeon Records- Whyte. The jacket is less than ideal, but the vinyl cleaned up very well and plays without skips & just a bit of noise. One of the best songwriters, of course. First Pip for me!

Day 1165 #CDsOnTheShelf #MusicChallenge #bluegrass A top ten band for me, I think- The Bluegrass Cardinals, inducted into the IBMA Hall of Fame a couple weeks ago. Randy Graham and David Parmley do not get enough bluegrass love, if you ask me. One of my fave album covers, too- top left.

The Bluegrass Cardinals CD covers- self titled, Essential, Sunday Mornin' Singin' and a band band CD combining On Stage in Nashville and New & Old Favorites.

It is a pretty bold blue for The Bunker. I wanted somethings distinctive because I knew I would have most of it covered in treasures...I thought the blue would work to set them off. There is a bulkhead running the length of the room which I wanted to decorate, but I was overruled.

Day 1164 #CDsOnTheShelf #MusicChallenge #bluegrass THe Bluegrass Brothers were a great, great band that never really broke out nationally- but hardcore bluegrass. Blue Mule were an Ontario band most famous for this album cover- which is pretty good- and their version of "Time After Time"

Day 974 #recordsontheshelf #musicchallenge #vinyl Picked this up used weeks ago, but only got around to playing today. Sounds good, no flaws. A well-crafted album, the last of his that really 'grabbed' me. We drove 2.5 hours to see him in Calgary w Carlene. Not sure how I got away with that!

Sad Clowns & Hillbillies, John Mellencamp featuring Carlene Carter. Mostly reddish-brown with a bar running horizontally revealing a painting of a clown. Script all in handwriting.

Good grief! Who in the world are these people? They are so lawless and bullying and dangerous and yet, the regime thinks ICE folks are just swell. People are getting hurt, some have died, and more will die, and it seems that no one is going to rein them in. This is totally out of control.

I was a skeptic about the import of the Epstein files.

But 3 invasions of cities, one military buildup outside Venezuela, a government shutdown, and so many other things meant to distract have me convinced whatever’s in there is the biggest presidential scandal in U.S. history.
