The adaptation left out key factors, like how he lends a passed-out Jongwoo his jacket after calling a cab for him. Or the fact that he ran after Jongwoo in an attempt to protect him from Moon-jo. Also taking him to dinner to constantly and offering of his own volition to pay for JW's trip home.
