Trouble is, I think that Europe is probably his least favourite place on Earth.

Think you’ll find that it’s not just when it comes to emigration…

Fantastic!

With a strong preference for single honours philosophy, obviously.

The arrival of the white car was the beginning of the end.

The should be made to publish/print the correction in the same place (i.e. with the same prominence) that it was first published.

Pesky vol sellers. It works until it doesn’t.

No buyers left, but no clear technical signs of a top/buying exhaustion.
October 22, 2025 at 5:23 PM
Getting a bit more interesting now. Are the buyers gonna make an appearance after lunch?

Quite a pathetic showing from the bulls today though...

Just need to know when to short NQ now...

Impressive that they managed to get all the way across that pavement, plus over the flower bed with small fence! At least nobody was passing on foot.

Be interesting to know what car it was, and also the age of the driver. I'm betting it wasn't a reasonably sized vehicle...
October 21, 2025 at 12:46 PM
Trump I think. NQ has just lost support badly.

Probably a bit early in the morning to venture into the comments section on that one.

'falling short of expectations' so that's most of them then. 😅

Looks like going to church every Sunday wasn’t such a bad idea after all.

Will they be converted? Do I need to buy shares in #HFD...?

They don’t offer tax advice but they will tell how much stamp duty to pay. Hmmmmmm

Thanks Chris. Interesting point about the 30Y and pensions.

How cheap is cheap? A Garmin 255 is very good (what I'm still using) but now superseded by the Garmin 265, which has in fact just been superseded by the 570. But the 255 is still a perfectly good (4 years old) watch and pretty cheap now.

'mood disorder' - hmmmm...

Yes, I tap the portafilter on the worktop until all the clumps are gone, then tamp and extract. You can buy funny little wire prong stirring things to break up the clumps but tapping works fine for me. The Sage grinder is good but notorious for clumping.

I don't have that model but I do have a separate Sage grinder + machine. My advice would be to check if the grinds are clumping. My grinder does produce clumps so I always remove those with gentle tapping of the portafilter, otherwise won't get a nice extraction.

Do you happen to know what variety of plum that is? I have one that looks just like it.
