It hasn't seemed that way. It's just people being mean to anyone who says anything remotely centrist. I'm not a racist or a transphobe. I've been here 2 days and I'm not going to stay. If the dems want to win the next election, their platforms need to stop pushing voters away, Mark.

Exactly. Each side sees the other as the epitome of "evil". Both are tainted with bias to such an extreme degree. Our mutual foundation is supposed to be the Constitution but both claim the other is destroying it. Whatever you think about them, they think the exact same about you. It's so tiresome.

Yes! I just saw this happen. So wierd. It looked like an ok talk but then a bunch of people got so nasty for no reason. I think the girl just responded to comments by saying something like it's ok to disagree and then everyone called her a racist and blocked her. It was CRAZY

It's just SO one-sided. If I saw this level of one-sidedness on another site, with the same language but from a republican, it would be hate speech. Bluesky isnt hiding just crazy racists, It hides normal people too. Who gets to make these decisions?

It looks like both "sides" think they are fighting fascism. When I step outside the picture and look at the whole thing, it's getting pretty messy. It's less like two groups fighting for opposing goals and more like each fighting for the same goal, each side thinking the other is literally evil.
