A peach and lavender daliah fills the frame with muted color on an overcast day. An orange glow radiates from within its center. Poem by Josey Alfred called I Felt Her Warmth I felt her warmth above the ground It threw the rime, from ridge of ground. My soul dormant, yet felt her nigh, I stirred to break the loose sand high. My thirsty soul shook me so wild And broke the nail holding the lid. She was nigh kneeling by my grave, She had wet eyes and broken nerves. The ridge gave in and she came down We grabbed each hard and merged as one! We left the corpse to merge with earth Our souls flew free, to flee from earth.
