Ah, well you can understand why they did that for the original considering the engine it ran on. SS2 had a lot more natural movement and felt like an rpg/fps hyprid as opposed to a sci-fi dungeon crawler like SS1

It is an updated engine with modern controller support and bug fixes from the original. I guess I'm curious when you say modernized, what do you mean?
