Un compte artistique autant que culturel et intellectuel.
Interesting arts and thoughts account.

Pas de politique.
No politics, from ANY side.
Radio Days is still a movie that I'm fond of.

What you're about to see is the trailer of "Cockfighter", 1974 by Monte Hellman.

With an astonishing performance by Warren Oates.

The occasion to mention the excellent book by the brilliant @kierlajanisse.bsky.social.

The other hell's soundtrack is so damn good, the Goblin put aside there so many good stuff by Riz Ortolani, Fabio Frizzi and the overlooked Carlo Rustichelli.

Happy #recordstoreday!

Indeed, and there was a super duper (10) limited edition with a doll I missed but it sounds pretty cool. Almost as cool as the Fulci doll. Btw I used to have a monthly sub to your buymeacoffee account, I doesn't work anymore - don't know why, technical stuff -, I'll subscribe again. Have a good week

Excellent indie revenge film, that I still recommend warmly.

¡Que viva México! is an unfinished Serguei Eisenstein Mosfilm films reconstructed in 1979.

It is a documentary about Mexico, about politics, history and culture.

Jay Leda called it "the greatest Eisenstein plan".

Here's the first minute.

"¡Vámonos con Pancho Villa!" by Fernando de Fuentes, 1936 is a classic Mexican movie, sometimes consider one of the finest Mexican movies, and the best depiction of the Mexican revolution.

It is, to me, a film any cinema enthusiast should experience.

Here is the first minute.

"Giallo a Venezia" aka "Giallo in venice" by Mario Landi, 1979.

At the end of the 1979, it is highly focused on sexuality and perversion, with some hardcore elements.

The uncut print we have today was discovered by chance in a dentist attic in Portugal.
