It’s bad enough man people in the pandemic got themselves pets because they couldn’t travel at that time after the travel bans got lifted again the noticed ohh with a pet I can’t go on vacation so easy so they ditched them at shelters or just left them somewhere outside

never have i understood pets as christmas presents... these creatures are sentient beings, wether its a fish a hamster a dog or cat etc etc

humans are so messed up...I mean get pets hell yeah they all need nice homes, but they are a commitment and companion, not a bloody "present"
