“You should smile more” can be a rather loaded phrase as it implies that someone should be pleasing someone else. You can smile (or not) as you wish.

When writing a formal treatise, proper <whatever language> is appropriate. In an informal situation such as this, among friends, whatever is comfortable for the writer.

As exemplified today…. I don’t care if they want to allow gambling or not. But if the answer’s no, then don’t make allow ad buys from gambling companies (fanduel, etc).

Much more surprised when something he predicts happens. That he was grandstanding isn’t particularly noteworthy.

Especially as the various sports leagues pretend to be against gambling, penalizing and castigating any team members involved. Just the usual anything for a buck.
