My current relaxation project, this design was part of the artwork I did for my Majacraft Luna spinning wheel, so I’m making an embroidered piece to match! 98% is handspun thread in merino and silk. #handspun #stitching #embroidery

I’ve designed some top whorl spindles as flowers :) 💐 they make a nice decoration when not in use!

Some of the things I’ve been busy with laser and paintbrush :) all coming to Woolfest Auckland where I am vending on the 24th! All Fibery related, some tools some pure decoration :) My favourites are the orifice hooks. No the dragons.. no maybe the earrings.. actually love it all and love making!

I was able to get my hands on a review copy of the wonderful new book ‘The Spinner’s Blending Board Bible’ by Deborah Held - what a fantastic and inspiring resource this is! Highly recommend :) Full review coming in rhe next TinyStudio issue this month! #fiberprep #fiberarts

So pretty! Teeswater Leicester locks, as good as it gets :D Grown in Aotearoa NZ by Elite Wools. These haven’t even dried after their dye bath yet but I love them so much! I’m going to bundle them up with another batch in the same but much darker colours, can’t wait to get them dyed and dried!

So I’m working on a range of tools and fun items related to fiber arts. I get many ideas, sometimes I even forget I had them and re-idea them later feeling like ‘this is familiar..’ when I get the same idea multiple times, that’s when I start to think it might be a good one!

Just for fun I’ve made a diz, still following my dragon theme :) I use my dizes mostly for pulling combed top from my hackle. This one is bamboo so it’s super sturdy! #diz #fiberprep
