I managed to reduce my 60 TB Data hoard to 18 TB by trimming unused archived raw footage and re-encoding to prores. The copying to external HDDS is amost done, all that's left now is WIPE the NAS, change it from RAIDZ1 to RAIDZ2 and copy it all back to the NAS. Almost done! #Datahoarder #Homelab

For my index controllers and trackers I’m looking for magnetic usb c charging cables. Any brands you recommend or what to look out for? I’ve never used these before but seems like reducing the wear and tear of daily plugging and unplugging would be great to make the ports last :3

I'm looking for a turntable expert that can diagnose my old Technics clones. Touching the platter to slow down is very unreliable. Taking off the platter reveals the motor is jittery. I've been using these for over 15 years and I taught myself to "ride the pitch" to avoid touching the platter.
