JULY 1 is the deadline for applications for the Skutch Research and Skutch Keystone Grants. These grants open on a yearly basis, so if you’re interested in applying for either, hurry up!

LAST CALL! 

The applicaitons deadline for the 20255 round of the Skutch Research AND Skutch Keystone Grants is around the corner. 

Skutch Research Grants: typically, five grants of up to $1500 USD each awarded annually. 

Skutch Keystone Grant: typically, one or two grants of up to $15,000 USD awarded annually. Receipt of applications ends on JULY 1, 2025. 

Remember that both grants are restricted to individuals based im Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean.

Access to our grants program is an AFO members benefit that you can enjoy for only 20 - 30 USD annually, along with many other benefits!

Part II will focus on the new knowledge she gathered after five field seasons in Peru, unveiling the secrets of bird nesting in the cloud forests.

Felicity did her PhD at the University of Florida, and currently continues research on tropical ecology as a Postdoc at Louisiana State University.
