These metal cats used to be solar lit ornaments, so I decided to "repurpose" them. They're about 1 1/2 ft tall, one has a happier face than the other, and they make me smile. They are a work in progress.

Some pretties for today's Timeline Cleanse. Almost brought to you by the colour yellow. 😁
Yellow flowers with multiple levels of petals. I don't remember it's name off hand, so I call it Yellow Flower. A bunch of yellow flowers. I call these mini Sunflowers. Just for something different here are red flowers that may be Yarrow or Maltese Cross. They are growing in front of flowers that will be yellow when they open. 😏 This Goat's Beard was given to me by my late brother. I thought it would be a much, much smaller plant than this. It's huge and it's 😥💚beautiful!

My cleanse for today.

I had to get into one of my flower beds to take a picture of the Columbines, they are growing so well this year. What I haven’t shared is I was having a rather off-balance day, lost my balance knocked down the deer fencing and broke a board which was holding up it.
A red Columbine standing about 4 feet high. I'm so proud of how well it's done. 🌻 A purple Columbine which stands about 3 feet high. The background has been greyed out so that the colours show better. I didn't know I could do that. 😁

Behold, our first flowers of the summer.
We live north of Gimli in Manitoba and and I was told our growing season is about 3 weeks behind Winnipeg, I suspect we may be further behind than that this year though.
The Iris is peaking out from behind long, sharp-looking Lily leaves. The Iris is white in the center and purple on the outer petals. This purple flower is also an early bloomer. It goes by different names, I know it as the Mountain Bluet. What I like to call a Ditch Daisy, because that's where they grow. The Daisy has many white petals and a yellow center.

Spring has sprung here in Manitoba and Sir Pen, our Maine Coon cat is happily chewing on some sweet, newly grown grass. Yummy

The first spotting of the season of what I call ditch flowers, as well as a stink bug. They have such cute little feet.
A small bunch of bright yellow crocus-like flowers. Most of the grass in the ditch is dry due to lack of rain. A brown hard shell insect with many legs is crawling up the back of a rather dirty lounger. Note to self....

Sir Pen, a tuxedo Maine Coon, loves chilling out with his favourite chair. Snow still covers part of the deck, yet there he is on the bottom of three deck chairs piled on top of each other. I do believe Sir Pen is chillaxing on the bottom chair, as if it were his very own bunkbed.

When we adopted King Louie we were told because of his tramatic start to life, he may never be a lap cat. I was okay with that since we already have two 'velcro' cats.

I am happy to report Louie is now comfortable enough to sleep on my lap. For a while at least.

King Louie, our latest foster is a long haired grey cat who resembles a Nebelung. He's lying on my lap on a colourful afghan with his front legs stretched out and his favourite 'poofy' with which he fell asleep. King Louie again, curled up facing away from me. I do believe that's a sign of pure love and trust. Sigh

I now know a concussion can be very serious but is quite different from what I have, which is Diffuse Axonal Injury (DAI). With a concussion the brain hits the inside of your skull and bounces back.
With a DAI the brain twists one way and then back again, shearing neurons in the process. ...
