Oh my god, this activated a core memory of going into Coerthas Western Highlands for the first time while still thinking about the end of ARR; the way I FROZE (no pun intended) and let the music sink in. I wish I could experience that again.

It doesn’t help that I more or less project myself onto Cloe (FFXIV version and all other versions of her) because I’m short and still look young for my age. And Tav is pretty much what I want in a man because I’m scared of dating for real (self esteem issues + childhood trauma).

Uhh, TL;DR: Tav originally came from the First, he fell in love with that World’s Cloe; unfortunately, she died, so he hops from World to World to continue being with her. He’s essentially sucked back into the First in ShB and Cloe goes to save him (she hella loves him too). 😭😭😭
