Her tweet about how peaceful and calm Belfast was in the 1970s had more journalistic integrity than this nonsense.

Wonder what a "Mission trip to Ireland" would involve?

Looks like she was one of the good/real Christians, in any case.

ICE is only the latest iteration of the neverending white settler colonial project of killing and punishing indigenous Americans of both hemispheres. In our lifetimes alone, we've had murderous coups and death squads unleashed by the US.

ICE persecuting Native Americans in the US is very logical.

I think this morality is along the lines of "If enough people ask for pictures of actual women and children doctored so they have less clothes on and depicted in sexual poses/activities, then its OK."

Just as the "truthfulness" of information is measured by how often its stated on the internet.

Also the billionaires that own the NYT would much rather have a fascist in power than someone who occasionally made noises about redustributing wealth more equitably.

Elected Democrats just pretend it isn't happening.

I think my 14 year old thinks that to be a teenager in the 80s would be the greatest thing ever (probably in Indiana, too, for good measure)...

Where is the text from?

My kids 14 & 16 are just about in this phase. As it seems to be the phase that most determined how I turned out, I'm fascinated to see how they are navigating it.

Stranger Things of Indiana (v related to DnD) is currently and will always be part of their late-teenagerhood.
