Supporting Fightmilk for the third night of The Winter Sprinter, it's New Starts.

New Starts are a spikey, fresh sounding band recalling the poppier ends of new wave and angular guitar rock. Their influences include The Cars, Breeders, Bay City Rollers, The Velvet Underground and ZZ Top.

Early copies come with a 28 page book of photos + notes from the recording sessions.

The video is set at an awkward house party where a moustachioed David is subjecting the other guests to his own songs. The video was inspired by the countless house parties where some failed rockstar whips out an acoustic guitar and bores everyone to tears with their narcissistic drivel.

Fronted by siblings David and Katie Pope, the song is sung by Katie and explores the self-indulgent nature of a 40-something songwriter banging on about his disappointing lovelife. (David is 45.)
