She has only worked 20+ years with lawful means against an unscrupulous dictatorship, recently spent a year in a presidential campaign with the fascist jailing anyone that dared sell her breakfast, another year in active hiding and having to risk high seas in a small boat to escape.

I feel sorry for americans for having a president that require an ego tax (preferably in shiny golden things) in exchange of the mere possibility of his good will.
And as a venezuelan, I feel proud of having a leader willing to swallow hard and make that sacrifice to further our cause.
January 16, 2026 at 1:03 PM
As a venezuelan, I am as disgusted and nauseated by his orange highness deluded arrogance as I was with our national drug trafficker before.
Almost as I am ashamed by the fact that the former's actions momentarily aligns with venezuelan's interests and we are forced to be "fake-grateful".

Cue posts in LieSocial "the helpless ICE officer was being attacked and had no choice but to try to defend himself, after all, he was being given the evil eye"

{jumps to youtube to see if there is a video already}

She doesn't seem to be venezuelan, and WAS NOT doing anything wrong or violent that warranted arrest.
At least her phone wasn't forcefully taken to check criticism against the government and wasn't thrown on the floor and kicked repeatedly like Maduro's cronies did and still do today if they find it
January 6, 2026 at 12:26 PM
Don't forget that Maduro IS NOT Venezuela's president, but its defacto election-setaling DICTATOR.
Edmundo González is the president, backed up by 2/3 of the votes in cryptographically certified public records and then forced to exile while his supported rot in jails including his son-in-law.
January 2, 2026 at 2:48 PM
More or less the same Nobel Peace Prize winner and Venezuela's VP-elect Maria Corina Machado does, having to suck up to his orange highness for support against election-stealing narcodictator Maduro, while Trump call venezuelans mobsters, rapists, etc.

Would be wonderful, but wouldn't give as much dopamine to narcissistic people in power (not leaders)
December 16, 2025 at 2:09 PM
Not sure thing, of course.
But most probably, knowing Maduro's (and Cuba's) history (and scarcity of those hypothetical island communities)
Would be verifiable if it weren't for Trump's / Hegseth's gun-ho tactics.

I dont doubt that those are drug mules (too many motors and too fast to be fishermen, besides the suspicious looking packages).
But imagine His Orange Highness doing things by the book: stop and board the boats, seize AND SHOW both drugs and crew. Maduro's income cut short and no one can object!

Thanks! Pictures turned up better than I expected.
December 15, 2025 at 3:13 PM
Tropical me ALMOST didn't go out at 18°C, using urban light pollution as an excuse. Had to go out anyway to close the front gate, looked up... and saw one at once!
Decided to climb to my roof and saw another while setting up the celphone. 6 more in 25 minutes but the phone barely captured just one.
December 15, 2025 at 2:26 PM
Oust Maduro first (I know, not your problem, but venezuelans already tried everything else).
Then get rid of his narcissistic Orange Highness.
December 12, 2025 at 12:08 PM
As long as you do it with style and not out of anger. I still carry a card from my college days that says in fancy calligraphy "You are cordially invited to fuck yourself, elsewhere"
The more one anger-swear, the less one is heard.

Does that doorway in the picture open to the 5th dimension? It leads to a hallway but the window shows outdoors.
November 26, 2025 at 2:27 PM
Wouldn't surprise me to soon see Venezuela's narc strong man in the Oval office, and His Orange Highness arguing that he didn't kill and torture that many people and apologizing for the boats.
After all, Trump must admire him for successfully stealing an election, thing that he tried and couldn't.

Affordable, basic, small apartments for the 20-some.
Affordable, basic, small houses for the 30-some, expandable for when kids arrive.
Affordable, small, 1-level, 2-bedroom houses for the retirees (preferably with neighborhood primary health care).

Ignore MAGAs screaming "socialism!!"
November 14, 2025 at 1:38 PM
I am agreeing but the faceless internet keeps arguing.
Business as usual.
November 7, 2025 at 1:01 PM
You are right of course.
It IS murder, even with due process IMO. As are shooting anyone in the battlefield, or shooting a burglar in one's home.

(This is anti-Trump me being [orange] devil's advocate 🤦🏻‍♂️)
November 7, 2025 at 12:41 PM
I agree in principle: shooting someone should always be the very last resort.
But these actions are more layered than just "war on drugs", in the sense of closing one of the bigger source of income for Maduro (not Venezuela). Ends justify the means? I lean to "no"... but it is indeed choking Maduro.
November 7, 2025 at 12:34 PM
Far from me to defend His Orange Highness actions, murder is murder indeed.
But also not condemn the action just bcause it came from His Royal Decree like Wonderland's queen of hearts, after all, what do one do as a cop when someone suspicious (and those are) starts to run when told to stop?
