Site update! The collections functionality is one of the oldest original parts of the site. I've been working on rebuilding it into the feature I always knew it could be and now it's ✨done✨. Give it a try! Long press or long click on any swatch to enter collections mode! #3dprinting

New site update! I've been working on this for a while, so it's good to finally get it out there. Lots of minor bugfixes here, but mostly it's that we have a LANDING PAGE and a newly redesigned swatch card! As always, let me know if you run into issues. Join us on discord? discord.gg/ceDJWqwcwT

It completely boggles my mind that I've reached the scale where it's more economical to run swatches in batches of 80... but here we are! Another batch ready for labels!

This one you can actually do already, but it's not intuitive because I consider this to be a power user feature. Go to settings, then click "Deselect All" under Toggle Manufacturers. Select only the manufacturers you wish to see, then go through colormatch as normal!

Here's something you might not know! If you take ABS off a build plate before it's fully done cooling, you'll often get white stress marks in the plastic. (This also happens with other plastics, but is most obvious with ABS.) Carefully hit it with an open flame and watch those marks disappear!

Thanks to multi-material printing and Fusion, I have a solution!
Most two-cube calendars only have three bars for the months (12 sides total) but I needed to display 14 events. That means I need four bars, so the cubes sit on two and the other two are hidden in the base! 3/4

I LOVE how little waste there is with the MMU3. Totally makes up for how much of a pain it is to load!

I love making jigs! This uses a custom frame and cut foam to hold swatches in the same order that the labels are printed in!

Like behind-the-scenes looks? I have three "tiers" of spooled filament: the stuff I'm actively using (on the carts), the stuff to refill the carts (the closet) and everything else, which is on two large floor-to-ceiling shelves in the basement. And this is just the PLA...

There's... kind of a way! Every filament has a maximum of two color families attached to it, so you can use the quick filters to narrow down your search. (For example, a dual tone white / red will be tagged as both color family white and color family red).
That's a good point that there isn't a 1/2
