Do not forget the water usage, the cooling towers that keep the condensers of the HVAC systems for these data centers evaporate water to get cool. very efficient heat transfer wise, but they consume enormous amounts of potable water from regional supplies. I do not think any use recycled water.

The craziest thing about wage theft is it’s a civil matter. So while theft was done its not stealing in the sense of criminal code. The worker has to sue for it rather than being able to get charges pressed.

If they follow the orders they should task one satellite to hit Mar-A-Lago and the other one to hit Bedminster. I am sure whatever survives reentry would at least put a very expensive hole in the roof.

what should scare people even more is this is not the kind of censorship that can be easily killed in courts. Here in the USA you can attack government stuff with the first amendment. This censorship however is monopolistic payment processors.

having a computer in the same room as the games consoles was mighty handy at that time, could keep Gamefaqs open. Though id o remember burning a shitload of printer paper to run off an FFX gamefaq so I could hook up the playstation2 to a bigger TV and not have to keep the laptop on hand.

There is a reason i laugh when people claim “Star Trek is bad because it got political”. And i am thinking “did they miss all entries from TOS onward?” Its always been political, Scifi is one of the most political expressions in art because its far flung adventures let us explore ourselves.

“The whole ecosystem uses Adobe” They are kinda like Autodesk, Own the production pipeline of an industry and become the standard. And from that all the schools teach the software so the education train is locked in. An industry effectively cannot break free after that.

The satellites will still be operating, if the data is not encrypted I would honestly encourage the SDR community in concert with meteorologists to setup a means to receive the signals and decode the data for broadcast. If Navy does not want to send it over, go over their helmet.
