And I cannot tell you just how important these were. £40 a game I think for most of us it was 2-3 games a year max, and choosing one was at least (if not more) difficult than choosing a new Pope!
I was very lucky in that my dad used them too, so I didn't end up with Last Battle under the Xmas tree 😂

It definitely felt like the game was a couple of hours too long? It didn't need that final level I thought. Otherwise, it is perfect, definitely the best Alien game ever made.

I worked for their tech help phoneline in the late 90s. Would often do the late shift and as it was free you got all sorts of drunken people & interesting characters shall we say.
Our supervisor was often massively stoned & would just fall asleep. I was studying so would bring my books, good times 😊

Its a fun game and I love how much space for imagination it leaves. And being able to make up warbands from any range you can think of is a lot of fun too.
