My script “Lost & Found” was just chosen as a semi-finalist in another completion, this time by the Detroit Independent Film Festival.

I’m so grateful for this recognition, especially since it’s a hometown placement this time 🙏

You want to know how petty I am?

Since #tubi refuses to offer a paid subscription option where you don’t have to see ads, I keep a list of every company who pays to advertise on their platform, and I refuse to support their businesses ever again in the future.

One film of Reiner's that I hope doesn't get overlooked as we start to celebrate his life's work is "The American President" (1995). It's equal turns smart and literate and gentle and disarming. Benning and Douglas are both terrific in their respective leads.

There’s so much to be said about the passing of Rob Reiner, but, for now, I’ll stick with the fact that he directed the two best film adaptations of Stephen King’s work:

Stand By Me (1986)
&
Misery (1990)

RIP 💔

Just siting in the theater, waiting for my movie to start, listening to this extremely masculine playlist on my AirPods.

I've still never had a better lineup of movies than I did on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 when I watched:

Fresh (1994)
Squeeze (1997)
Juice (1992)

“The Secret Agent” is the best film of 2025. It’s out now. It’s 2.5 hours. Put on your patience pants. You’ll be rewarded.

The Best Song category has long been the most useless category of any film awards show. This year is no different.

Get me off this planet.

Criticizing someone else’s performance when you delivered this one is like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife.

The best part of “Wicked: For Good” was when Boq starts singing “Holding Back the Years”.

Just recently go turned on to the band Wet Leg (like three days ago recently) and the album “slaps” as the kids say and I just found out they’re coming to Denver on Sunday and now I’m going to see my new favorite band less than a week after I found out about them 🤷‍♂️
