BAFTA chose not to give British born Delroy Lindo a much deserved Supporting Actor nomination.

We all know their ridiculous history of racism, overlooking most of Denzel Washington's performances, for example. Still a petty colony.

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

I mean, it's not subtle, but neither is killing two innocent civilians in cold blood.

Let's get it to the billion club.

Amazing Oscar nominations this year 👏

Huge congratulations to cast & crew of Sinners - incredibly well-deserved 16 nominations. I'm so excited to see both Delroy Lindo & Wunmi Mosaku nominated as well as MBJ.

Congratulations also to Rose Byrne, Jacob Elordi, Ethan Hawke, Wagner Moura, Stellan 1/2

This is one of the most enjoyable lists I've read in a long time. Having now seen all the films mentioned, I think it's a great round-up. Many characters are wrenchingly, hilariously memorable (Mavis from Young Adult, the eponymous Greenberg & Ingrid)

And RIP also to Valentino, who gave us what's surely the most beautiful Oscar look of all time! 😀

Beautiful tribute from an Aussie icon to the late great Rob Hirst - RIP. There's a few of us who'll listen to The Power & the Passion tonight
Rob Hirst has had a massive impact on Australian culture. He was the engine driving one of the greatest live bands of all time. RIP, dear Rob. You are irreplaceable, one of a kind, and myself, my family, and all the rest of this great country will miss you so much.

I sincerely love that the Oscarsverse is already trying to make #RalphFiennes2027 happen.

I mean it's been working for Amy Madigan right?! And he is PHENOMENAL in 28 YL Bone Temple!!

Hedda, another sumptuous Nia DaCosta film. Her cinematographer Sean Bobbitt creates jaw-dropping lighting in both this & 28 Years Later: Bone Temple. Tessa Thompson is fantastic and a real standout is Nina Hoss in the film's most complex role - one of 2025's best supporting performances for sure

And it's a great band!

Isidor also creates great music, I can't recall how I stumbled across it but I listen to Ghost in the Grid regularly
YO, Joe Keery AKA Steve from Stranger Things has a band and they just took the number one spot from Taylor Swift. This makes me unreasonably happy. LETS GO STEVE. I wanna also ask: hey Steve, wanna do a collab? 😂

Recent watch - Orson Welles' Mr Arkadin, brilliant as always. Particularly enjoyed Welles' Russian accent and dramatic low angles every time we see his character- treading a line between high art & camp :) It's great that even the poster has this

Pavements (2024) - what a hoot. The layers of irony are so deliciously appropriate. The 2024 retrospective award for playing the most Steves in one year goes to the hilarious Joe Keery (incidentally, his music created as Djo is genuinely terrific 👌) The vocal fry scenes had me laughing out loud
