I’m convinced the universe loves keeping me teetering between success and failure. Nudging me back and forth for its own amusement. The trip home from an otherwise awesome weekend (WAY back in August in reality.) was pure stress, but honestly… this kind of thing happens to me way too often. lol

Woke up at 5:20 with a mild leg cramp, which sucked. But it turned my BRAIN on hard, and I got about 4 thousand words written and figured out a KEY scene for the 6th book in my series, the Havenwolf Chronicles. So, a win! 🐺

We only drove past it, as we weren't there all that long. (The weekend had been VERY packed, and we were just kinda stopping in for a couple of hours before the LONG drive home. lol) So we saw it, but only in passing.

It’s October, so what better time to post about our AUGUST trip to Salem? Since the NCS conference was in Boston, we had to visit! Heidi’s witchy side made it a must. We loved "Amazing Pizza & More" (logo altered for the strip), and yes... she really turned Bobcat Metatarsals into earrings!

Right now, It's only available through Amazon. I'm hoping to get them on Ingram Spark later in the year, which should make them more widely available, however.

But yeah, currently it's just Amazon.

With all due respect to the Peter Jackson films, which I do love... THIS will always be my favorite adaptation of the Lord of the Rings. I have adored this movie for my entire life and Ralph Bakshi just nailed it, for me.

Many comics run on repeating core ideas, mine included: “Dee has creative block,” “Dee’s anxious,” or “something about boobs.” Conan hates wizards and snake people, Garfield hates Mondays and loves lasagna. Inspired by Jim Zub & Rob De La Torre’s Conan, this was pure fun to draw. Buscema, I am not!

94 years ago, DICK TRACY by Chester Gould debuted,launching a legacy I was lucky to join! I inked Shelley Pleger for about 6 months, then teamed with Eric Costello for 2 weeks as guest artist. My first newspaper work, and a dream come true. So proud to be part of this legacy.
