It's good that I haven't been playing much dnd while injured cause the urge to spend all my time drawing me and my friends characters would be far too strong

Me and my brother's dnd characters after a very emotional and cathartic 'standing up to your family and their traditions' scene. A post rebellion look I made for my character in the dnd campaign I'm playing in. We're currently on hiatus while our DM gets their masters. The character I made for a one shot turned three shot Call of Cthulhu campaign we did where the big bad ended up being a reference to a NPC from the very first campaign we ever played together! Never trust the ocean cheese.

I also still have copies left of my spooky comic "Forget-me-not" about death and childhood. Some stickers from my Childhood Hyperfixations series as well as some lino cut prints including my 'This Machine Kills Fascists' & 'That's Not Very Babygirl of You'. I also still have a limited amount of patterned moleskin notebooks. Figured I'd properly introduce myself, I'm FingerSmudges and I'm a queer artist based in Toronto!

I'll try any medium at least once, but the more I can mix together the better. If I'm not abandoning wips, I'm probably baking, or stuck in ADHD waiting mode.

An assortment of random mini prints and doodles that I keep on my wall. Includes my x-ray piece about swallowing gum and it turning into a monster. And my illustration of a shark in a car wash. There's also little cat taking a nap that's from a bigger collage, as well as "I am a provider" cat which I had thought of making into a t-shirt for my brother. Oh and then there's a random stick guy. I think I was testing out markers...idk A piece of fanart I made for Steve from Blues Clues (I have my own signed copy of course). I wanted to find a way to include as much stuff as possible without drawing actually people. This was done with pencil crayon and acrylic before being touched up and collaged digitally (cause I hate cutting stuff out by hand). A jacket. It's made of denim? And painted. So many times. I do not recommend painting on black denim, you have to do so many more layers. Oh, there is also a chameleon and a butterfly in here. There's this cat that lives at a local market I like and I had to paint the lil guy. This is done in my classic method of paint all the pieces separately by hand and touch up with pencil crayons and then scan them in digitally to collage cause I hate cutting out stuff. Also, I did not change the colours from my og photo. They really had everything every colour. Part of the reason I wanted to paint it so bad.

Throwback to that weird Converse ad assignment I had in my 2nd year of art school. Was so proud of it until the prof told me I should have just cropped it and proceeded to fold it in half (I worked so hard on those jeans, rip)

Redid it last year for fun. Not sure I vibe with a digital attempt tho.

Had this idea of doing a Sailor Scout inspired paint tube series back in 2019 as a fun thing for my fellow art friends. Started redesigning them last year, might pick them back up again once the carpal tunnel calms down.

I have the temptation to make them glittery.....

Seriously tho, this boy has been dropped, sun burnt, had a broken limb, had that limb amputated, lived in a freezing cold basement, a sweltering apartment, and moved 4 times in total. My sibs and I would joke about him being immortal and thought it sounded like a band name. Btw his name is Lassie ❤️

Thought my unkillable lil plant boi was finally dying, so I put in a little picture of Viktor from when my friends and I did a hear-me-out for ✨inspiration✨ and I think he took a little too literal and started growing a new body from the corpse of his old one. Truly unkillable.
