My animals, they wake me up to feed them at 0500 begging for attention, but then trap me so I can't get out of bed. Luna is between me and the exit and Persephone is literally sitting on me.

My dogs like to steal my spot as soon as I get out of bed. Today they were particularly symmetrical about it.

Someone tell me why my dog is scared of food in bowls? You put a bowl down and she'll start whining like I'm taunting her with something she wants but can't access. if she gets a taste _then_ maybe she'll eat what's in the bowl. Or if you add a super motivator like fresh meat. Luna is happy though.

Today I am mourning my singing voice. It was never much but since I'm on T the last bit it's really gone down. It does what it wants and it cracks. I don't even have a singing in the car alone voice anymore. I'm sure it'll mature but I sure wish I could afford a vocal coach.

We moved on Friday and set up the couch the same day. The on Monday Luna built herself a nest. She did everything from the poison of the pillows to the decorating. Now everytime time we sit on the couch she goes right to it. I believe she likes the new place!

Picked up kidling from school in Waterloo last week and we spontaneously decided to go to the zoo!! Ash made friends with a bird and I was sad to discover that the Komodo Dragon passed away last year. But we had a blast!

Today I learned that Max Brooks, author of World War Z, wrote a series of Minecraft books, one of which was narrated by Jack Black and the rest by Sean Astin. None of these are my fandoms but the collab is a fascinating meeting of worlds that I'm not sure I can resist.

I am so dissapointed and frustrated with Ontario right now. I can't believe we voted in our own version of Trump for another term. I'm going to go hide in a hole.

Why...do people, well, masc folk, remove thier upper clothing when threatening to fight? You'd think it would be wiser to leave on the protective layers. 🤔

Just started playing Tiny Tina's Wonderland. It's fucking awesome. I thought it was going to be theme park themed for some reason and I stead I'm getti g Borderlands with DnD, I couldn't be happier!! ZOMG!
