I love our national park system.

This was the first I visited: Pt Reyes National Seashore. I learned about the history of cattle ranching and saw the ocean. History and nature were both important facets of my visit and I hope to visit many more parks in the future.

It is much too cold outside today. I must stay where it is warm.

We've had a fair bit of snow the last few days. And still more to come.

Back in my first winter... Still trying to figure out how sweaters work. I crawled all the way out the neck hole and then got stuck.

Today's #tongueouttuesday is a throwback to when I went to the Golden Spike Tower in Nebraska. The tiny railroad museum let me go everywhere inside and out. And they had some treats on hand for me!

It may be cold out, but it's warm and cozy under a blanket.

Memories of living where winter meant the hills turned green.

It is a good day to hide inside.

Today is the last opportunity to get a solid run without falling snow getting in the eyes for a while. Best to take advantage.
