Twenty minutes later it came back inside, through the lounge—where it did not stop to chat with me, again (rude)–onward to the lobby and out the front door.

A cat casually walked in the hotel’s front door, crossed the lobby and into the lounge—where it strolled past me without saying hello (rude)—headed straight for the patio door, where a staff member came and opened the door for the cat, and then carried on its way.
