Even in the unlikely event Democrats win both houses — and even if they made this a priority — even as an optimist, I’ve pretty much lost faith in their ability to get anything done.

Of course… this optimistic version of events requires putting faith in Congress.
Which — let’s be honest — is at least for now just as much of an extension of the executive branch as the judicial.

Indeed, the adult industry is arguably the only good-faith actor trying to address the problem of underage access to adult content.
The people trying to ban porn? They aren’t solving anything — they’re just criminalizing expression.

Let’s be clear:
These zealots are far more responsible for America’s toxic relationship with sex and porn than the adult industry ever has been.

The optimist in me hopes this absolute mess of a decision forces Congress to act.
That we’ll get a real solution to a real problem, instead of these BS rulings from righteous religious zealots trying to control speech.
