That project manager sounds like a complete twerp. The level of failure to innovate, failure to coordinate, and failure to execute on display in that process was astounding.

Who knew Cromulent meant "Tall?"

I thought a lot of art was pretentious before I stopped to think about which pretense and why. Now I still do, but I've discovered a lot that of real emotive, expressive work that I was overlooking.

That is very far from the experience here in the U.S. at least. Any coffee-based business large enough to get a breakfast or lunch rush will have some kind of standing filter coffee in an insulated metal tureen, if not more than one kind. Whether it's Dunkin', yucks, or a local place so far.

"Seymore! The keep is under siege!"
*The bottom of the scroll unrolls a bit further*
"Nay, mother, we are undone from within. The faceless man walks among us."

Not some ordinary creep.

Deliberately stranding them like that, it probably isn't hard to prove malice. It is my sincere hope that he is forced to pawn his urethra to satisfy the eventual civil court judgement.

Humans are incredibly resilient in the face of puncture wounds, just ask any Nurse. IVs and Syringes aren't the limit at all, either, arrow and bullet knife and sword, if it doesn't get infected and it doesn't hit a critical pipe, survival is shockingly high. Sometimes even if it does.

Just think, if he had learned his lesson about being a goon and took his lumps, he'd have lived through this storyline. As it stands, he's already being hunted by a kobold and that kobold's best friend, a tiger. He probably doesn't realize the kobold is hunting him yet.

No. Sounds fun, though.

That makes SO much more sense. It's clear now that you say it.

It looks like the side of that one gator is made out of the tissue that is normally the webbing that connects the back of their jaws. That's the part I was curious about, but the fungal reanimation is interesting too.
February 7, 2026 at 3:16 AM
Can you explain your decision-making process for changing the gator you were drawing in the top right of the image to have mucous membrane instead of scales?

We are not born with a full load of working empathy. We learn it as we grow. Or we fail to learn it, or somebody fails to teach us in the first place, or we learn it and then forget for reasons. The good news is we can still learn empathy later in life. The bad news is comfortable folks won't.
February 6, 2026 at 7:58 AM
I would say it's a problem that seems impossible to ignore, but somehow some folks manage. I sure can't, it occupies way too much of my mind, but some folks do. Best I can manage so far is to step out and touch grass each time news gets me too heated.

You're telling me racism isn't a damned shame? It was obviously tone deaf to put a damned watermelon on that poster, and that is a disappointment both because it happened and because it IS that way in the first place.
February 6, 2026 at 7:29 AM
Nowhere else in the world is Watermelon viewed that way, that metaphor only exists in the context of the way the United States has treated former slaves and anyone that resembled them. It's a damned shame for countless reasons, and reason number 473 is that those colors really do match that flag.

Pretty sure that's exactly what people are suggesting if they're trying to drum up presidential support for a known enemy of the people just because they think he might look electable.
