I’m not 100% sold on my opinion here. Without the custom check, I’d immediately say scope to `if` block only because you most likely wouldn’t do anything with a falsy value. So yeah, sticking to the new rust behaviour of else being out of scope is probably what i’d say is better

I’d initially say it should be scoped to the else block too, because if the custom truthy-ness is false, the rest of the object might contain an error message which could be useful.
But then I suppose for that use case, sticking to the current syntax makes more sense.

I really like the pacing. You speak relatively fast, but pause nicely between sentences/paragraphs, so it’s easy to follow. and i really like that there are no cuts, it feels much more real than most of what’s done nowadays

that’s an instance where it looks really good! it looks good in a lot of places, but it also looks very jittery in major places (control centre, notification centre), plain bad contrast on some menus, or just weird in dark mode in a lot of places

how is this considered sufficient contrast on an official stock app??

I'm really trying to like liquid glass, some of the effects and motion design look very cool, but it's just so ridiculously not useable rn, it still feels like an early beta

i usually have LPM on most of the time, but that makes a lot of the animations so jittery... The worst are notification and control center

i had a similar issue, it was because of system time on my pds.. The time was off by a few dozen seconds, so the jwt timestamps were off too and a lot of atproto apps wouldn’t accept it.
Fixing system time with chrony did it
