I know we all realize this, but to underline the point: AI is predicated on exploitation, environmental degradation, and financial speculation. It should be the antithesis of everything we stand for as professors.

the environmental cost. the fact that we are legitimizing AI to develop textbooks and course materials. fuck even the textbook looks ugly as sin 😭 I feel like students will not take this shit seriously& it just legitimizes students using chatgpt to do their homework! if their prof does why not them?
