How you don't see that "trans women are women' is an incoherent, regressive ideology that destroys women's rights; destroys the right to claim same-sex attraction and association; and results in young people being medically and psychically harmed, is quite puzzling

It's quite creepy how you insist on mansplaining to women about the proper way to be a feminist. I've been an active feminist for decades but no, you know better. A man telling women how to do feminism > a perfect analogy of patriarchy as well as gender ideology (men can be better 'women')

It's not about excluding trans, it's about rejecting the ideology. It's about acknowledging reality. 'Trans women are women' renders 'woman' a meaningless category. And if you can't define women, you can't protect women's rights. Gender identity should never trump sex. Why can't they just be trans!

And, as a lesbian, I've been involved in LGB and feminist activism since 1979. A gay man's lived experience under patriarchy has been hard, I understand that. It can be allied with feminism but it cannot be part of feminism. I have dear gay friends; I have also suffered appalling sexism from gay men

Yeah, mate, I researched and wrote a book about LGB lives post WWII. And you know nothing about feminism! I'm sure you'll continue to lecture me about it while believing earnestly in 'lived experience' for non-females. Perhaps look up the term 'mansplaining' 😄

PS the 1950s were worse for women and lesbians, bound by rigid sex role stereotypes and lacking full rights. Gender ideology is returning us to those times

Where is the proof that GC feminism is a 'small sliver' of the movement? Are you an expert? Are you involved in feminist groups? Feminism centres women's rights, and has nothing to do with men's rights. If men can 'feel' like women, then 'woman' ceases to exist as a category along with our rights

Oh, a man is telling me about feminism? How unusual 🤔. And how boring. Well, gender ideology is concentrated misogyny and homophobia, along with 1950s ideas of sex role stereotypes and a ludicrous incoherence that does not stand up to scrutiny

A) I'm not saying they MUST publish all such books, but if they make a blanket statement that they will NEVER publish books from GC authors, that is discrimination on the basis of belief; B) GC ('terf') beliefs do not call for 'suppression or eradication of people' - ridiculous hyperbolic lies 🙄

If you don't publish a book because it's bad, that's not censorship. If you don't publish a book because of the author's 'thought crimes' (beliefs which, BTW, are protected under EA2010), yes, that's censorship. Use your brain: where does this authoritarian punishment of free speech end up? HTH

That'sa lie! Women and LGB groups are trying to claw back the rights stolen from us thanks to gender ideology. Trans people still have full protection under EA2010. Why does no one care that women and lesbians have lost our single-sex spaces?

It's already my rights that I've lost: as a woman (right to same-sex spaces, including prisons and sport), as a lesbian (right to meet in female same-sex attracted spaces). But I suspect you don't care about that 🤔
