So celebrate you! Make a day that is your celebration and go do it. I’ve done fellow Xmas orphan celebrations every year - flew to Sydney day trip to zoo one year, drove to country town that won Sausage King and picnicked on sausages, parkrun 3hrs from home - you choose your own adventure.

Make your own celebration. That’s the key. Do what Amber wants. Explain to your kids and celebrate on a different day with them. Only do what you’re comfortable with.
