🚨Appointing a former TMX CEO to lead the newly launched Major Projects Office risks entrenching us in the technologies of the past.

As the world races to deploy solar & wind industries, Canada should seize the opportunity to build our future on renewable energies.

📰The #CIJ_ICJ has spoken—fossil fuel production is no longer just bad policy, it’s a violation of international law.

So true - and even fewer connect the dots from wildfires to climate change to fossil fuels. It’s an uphill battle. But we’ll get there. We must.

Are the fires not connected first to drier and warmer conditions? Which we know can be attributed to increased GHG emissions which are primary climate change catalysts.
It seems too many humans can't make the leap from fires to climate change.

Attended the seminar tonight “Climate vs. AI: Is AI helping or hurting climate goals?” Most panelists insisted it’s “helping”, but I wasn’t wholly convinced. What is your view?

“This is actually motivating,” Romero said. "I know I got a very basic response, but I’m not leaving. I know I’m never going to stop fighting against climate change."

Whatcha going to do next @cityofcoquitlam.bsky.social? Listen to the youth! Not suing major polluters for a fair share of climate costs means putting communities, like Coquitlam, at risk of skyrocketing climate change costs in the years to come, with few ways to recoup those costs.
