I absolutely agree with Esther Rantzen’s point that MPs aren’t being honest about how religion shapes their opposition to assisted dying. This is dishonest, especially when hidden under other supposed concerns. www.theguardian.com/politics/liv...

Pedestrians who are hit by SUVs are 44% more likely to be killed than if they were hit by a conventional car, new study finds. Children are 82% more likely to die when hit by an SUV than by a car. In children under 10, the risk of death was 130% higher.

NEW: The Equality and Human Right Commission is investigating Labour’s benefits cuts for potentially breaching the Equality Act. Spoiler alert: it is. I’m half way through all these PIP scoring forms and changing to needing 4 in one item is clearly discriminatory.
