Cheekier than the average sheep. An irreverent, random and unfinis.......
The money would be ring fencing the money for housing infrastructure. People objecting to new developments would be paying more each year. I think its fair to say it would be political suicide to try it though

I agree that one of the problems when it comes to sorting out housing is that it currently only directly affects the younger population. It occurs to me that you could make it every bodies problem by increasing property tax by 50% each year until the problem is fixed.

The rest of the country is just fine thanks, busses running from almost every country in Ireland direct to the airport. How about "lets make it cheaper", Nobody has anything to say on that despite the fact Madrid recently build a metro extension for less than 40 million per km.

What next, if the DPP decides to prosecute Micheal Lowery, he will probably want to sit on the jury

I never see any mention of the energy savings to be had in moving data and backups from small servers in every business in the country to one large server in a data centre. Granted it is not offsetting the new demand from streaming services and storage used to backup every photo on your phone

The two main parties were voted back in by the largest cohort of voters. They have good reason for thinking that people want them to continue on the same track.
