We'll be collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys at any of our fire and rescue stations, through Sunday, 12/7!

With deep sadness, we share the passing of Captain (Ret.) Jan Mitchell on Friday, 11/21/25. Cpt. Mitchell served in the LCFR-FMO from 1990-2011. During her career, Cpt. Mitchell forged the foundation of the FMO, establishing many of the policies & procedures that still guide the office today.

In August, bystanders performed CPR on a man who had collapsed while mowing his lawn in Western #Loudoun until the arrival of #LCFR crews from FS26 (Loudoun Heights). As a result of their quick intervention, the patient made a full recovery. MORE: www.facebook.com/LoudounFireR...

Yesterday we had the privilege of participating in the Loudoun County Public Schools Job for a Day program! Students joined us for a behind-the-scenes look at #LCFR and learned more about careers in fire and emergency medical services. Thank you for spending the day with us! 🚒🚑🚨

#LCFR units are on scene of a structure fire in the 19000 blk of Kipheart Dr. Fire has been extinguished & crews are performing salvage & overhaul operations. Fire investigators are on scene. All occupants accounted for. 1 civilian evaluated for minor injury & 1 FF transported for minor injury.

#LCFR Recruit Classes 48 & 49 have been hard at work! RC48 is in EMT school, practicing hands-on patient assessments and learning about airway & cardiac emergencies. RC49 is in fire school and completed their first live burn evolutions last week!

IMPORTANT ⚠️: Effective at midnight tonight, the LCFR-FMO has prohibited open burning in #Loudoun until further notice due to atmospheric conditions. Anyone found burning during this prohibition may receive a Virginia Uniform Summons for prohibited burning, which is a class one misdemeanor.
