Mid 90’s I was already using the first Photoshop and laying out my high school program of studies on Quark. By late 90s I was using InDesign to lay out my college newspaper. Maybe the graph paper was early 80s? I was playing og Oregon Trail in the computer lab in the mid-80s.

Yep. Same happened to me. Tbf the doc told me my eyes would grow old like everyone else’s. Just thought it would take longer.

I think it depends on the sport. Many sports could easily be coed like soccer or track. In fact I started in a coed soccer league as a kid and never thought anything of it. Women win the Boston marathon often and that is also coed.
