Nadeau is an interesting prospect. Some skills/instincts that we wish other prospects had. Needs to improve his skating/mobility. Willing to work on things in the E. I don't know if he will ever get to the show, but if he does it will be because of the work he puts in. Great hockey story to watch.

Just looked up Ryan McLeod's average speed - 11.09 mph. Gotta remember NHL ice is smaller, so that would lend to lower averages. But McLeod is a speed demon, and Poltapov's number is respectable in comparison.

His average speed is high, and he doesn't take easy routes. It's hard for a bumper car to have a good average speed.

... Every league has a diff blue paint shape. What do the goalies really need, and what should they have to fight for. My conclusion - make it a bit smaller and optimally shaped. The NHL crease looks like a pier.

I have been stewing on the Benson-crease disallowed goal. I am ready to admit he got in the crease on his own. He wanted a net front position and that was the only way to get it. If the standard is going to be "he got there on his own", then maybe we look at what "there" is...
