This isn't my real picture. I'm a tortoiseshell.
My dog's name sounds close enough to "Siri" that whenever I yell at the dog, Siri pipes up. Makes for lots of memorable occasions when I'm trying to answer the door, the dog's barking, and my phone is talking to me.

Seems like Trump's looking for an offramp and something he can spin as a victory.

This is all a bunch of goalpost moving.

If the murder victim didn't have a gun, it would have been something else.

Ah yes. The old evil cop, bad cop strategy.

I just know some slimy consultant taught him how to do the various hand gestures when he talks. It all looks so...contrived.

most Democrats are so afraid of dropping a soundbite that makes them seem like they're sOft oN CrImE, or they don't SuPpOrT OuR TrOoPs, that they suffer from the public policy version of reversion to the mean.

Catchphrases like "catastrophic success" and "start from yes" make me think this guy has his vacuous head filled with airport books.

Is this just a not-so-clever way to provoke the Cuban government to imprison and execute those suspected of being disloyal or with previous diplomatic ties to the US?

This crackdown could provide a pretext in the name of...freedom.

Certain places in the US aren't recognizable anymore either.

I guess she should have put a towel down before she sat on the couch.

But aren't these vast fortunes all made on the basis of an economy that's 2/3 consumer spending?

What's their plan, sell crypto to each other while the plebs go back to the stone age?

shhh, it's antifa propaganda. The main character doesn't even drive a car.

5) Foyle's War: a foreign TV series for smart people
6) WARthog: what a loser, my favorite character was Uncle Scar
7) Elizabeth WARren: I forget, something about John Smith?
8) And one other

1) Daddy Warbucks: nobody talks about him any more
2) War and Peace: some old book that nobody reads
3) Star Wars: overrated franchise with the loser Mark Hamill
4) War of the Worlds: Martians are not the enemy, folks

It's gonna take longer than 10 years, and that's assuming there are some checks on executive power and/or congressional inaction that can be established. And good luck with that.

I think it's absolutely crazy that a razor thin margin in the popular vote can lead to such enormous differences in policy and outcome.

It's like if I get to work a minute late I get fired, but if I get to work a minute early I get promoted.

Sounds like Vance and Miller violated rule number 2.

The threesome joke.

Like this: Of course I was joking about a threesome with your friend. Unless, of course she's into it.

It's all about disguising aggressive pushes with "humor", and then pushing farther if they aren't met with sufficient resistance.

Trump missed out on supply and demand in econ 101.

Putting more money in people's pockets will increase demand, which raises prices.
