This is another common type of UFO. They have the shame shape as the classic saucers shape metal UFOS and might possibly be the same objects/ships just emitting some kind of energy field. We can only speculate. Sightings date back centuries.

I find the increase of these crafts to be particularly interesting because, based on previous witnesses' accounts, they are often miles long, and there are several accounts of smaller crafts emerging from them. They have often been called "motherships" for this reason.
