Although I'd be happy with a refreshed Stormbringer 5, the BRP answer for me these days always tends towards Dragonbane, so perhaps Demonbane? I'm about to run some Young Kingdoms using Everywhen.

I like the Hero Dice option from Cepheus Universal. I've applied it as a group resource for a session. You get 1 die per player into the pool. They can be spent to increase your roll and you can spend as many as you like until they're gone.

I'm moving to T5, natch, as it is more complex. 😆
