Haven't read it yet, but I assume it take a dynamic coupling perspective rather than a causal chain perspective? Also I feel that the importsnt debate isn't about the cause of pain, but what feeling pain is - as it happens- the present, in moment,process?

Is it seeing or is it felt? Can we separate the feeling from the catalyzing sight? That is, can we allow that affect (feeling) occurs before and separate from emotions and is separate from sensory experience? There is always murkiness with these studies because of certain starting assumptions.

Can you explain the particular use of perceptual here? It seems the phenomena is an affectual feeling, relational in some way rather than representational, though I assume it can play a role. It reminds me of those with OCD and the feeling of contamination despite rational awareness of the opposite

Is that awareness then a feeling of recognition of a 'something' as a 'something'? Or Is it a functional representation than need not be conscious or felt (if not the same).I feel the whole endeavor turns into a chicken and the egg situation.

Back in the 90s, artists and musicians fought back against claims of negative influence, but is there evidence that suggests lawmakers at the time were right? All media influences. I am guessing we are experiencing evidence of it today?
