Today is going to be a tough day, emotionally speaking. One year ago today I made the worst decision I've ever had to make. It was incredibly tough to do and I still have my doubts if it was the right call, or too soon.

I still miss Oliver more than anyone and anything in the world.

Got brave, decided to change out my nose ring myself. My long awaited skeleton fish is IN! Sorry I can't get a closer and clearer photo of the jewelry, it's so small my camera complained.
I'm not going to describe my selfie for you, sorry. Also the septum ring is a bit blurry, but I assure you it's a silver fish skeleton.

I found a version of the meme that is currently relevant to me.

There are at least 5 national/global events that break my heart each week and it's only getting worse. Simple tasks are overwhelming. Existing feels like a chore. There is so much uncertainty in the present and future and I'm barely keeping it all together."

Some neat trees and roots I saw today too!
In the center of the image is a single tree with exposed roots on the sandy and rocky bank of the Mississippi River.
