Nope, I’m not accepting 3CR slander, Pure is a good album(this is the one with Nuclear Holiday on), but Beautiful Day was perfect power pop and stands on merit against other stringsy melodic ‘indie’ of that time.

The Telltale stuff I played definitely had limited paths, but they were big stories. Slay the Princess has so many paths and endings it’s fun just to try different options and dialogue.

I didn’t realise how important choice was until I played it the second time and spoke to someone else about it, it felt like seamless storytelling first time through.

Yes; the cold, the snow, the ice, the pale blue open sky, the big bright moon are the things that give January any respectability. The thaw, slush and mud are just bad.

I believe that there is another direct enforcement mechanism called the second amendment. Unfortunately you only use that to shoot schoolchildren rather than the tyrants it’s supposed to legislate against.
