It's possible. There's a monetary incentive for them to make the "actual" results below the ads even worse than the ad results. That way the ads indirectly get more clicks, which gets them more ad revenue. The AI overview buries the non-ad results even lower on the page, even with an adblocker.

Try mail.proton.me, it's solid. You can set your gmail to forward everything it receives to there. Google will still see emails that go through Gmail, but anything you switch to use your proton email from then on will be out of their reach. My Gmail mainly just has spam left in it now.

i've tried so many esoteric keyboards looking for one that fits my two needs:

- has swipe support

so many keyboards, none quite right. I settled on "multiling o keyboard" cause it has those 2 things and is 100% customizable (can tweak ANYTHING) but its a jank af and autocorrect suuuuucks
