Sorry I’m going on about this, but it pissed me off so much. I don’t understand why anyone would do this.

Also the other day my partner noticed it was tipped over, and managed to recover it and tipped up the soil. He said it might’ve been knocked over by the storm but now I’m thinking someone straight up wanted to kill this Daphne.

Mind you, I live down a long driveway and the plant isn’t visible from the road.

I wouldn’t care so much, except it was a gift to remember my late granddad since one of his dying wishes was for us to plant Daphne bushes (it was my great grandma’s favourite flower)
