"now you know where to look" is the achievement you get for seeing all the plays, so I guess my love for theatre and obsessive nature did save the day after all

amazingly enough, it is done. we'll be back for the haruspex route hopefully /after/ i finish all those books and borrowed manga volumes i have lying around.

(in my defense, i was preparing for two different shootouts against mutinous soldiers where i was severely outnumbered. and they were very dramatic and it was really cool of me to manage both. i'd just like that on the record)

i do get what the developers meant when they said a lot of the aspects of the game are kinda incongruent with dankovsky's character & what he's supposed to represent, but it makes him such a blorbo to me. gap moe or whatever

also, i kept my scalpel all the way through even though they sell for a considerable amount and are basically useless in a fight. because obviously a doctor needs a scalpel. why else would i have brought it otherwise

the last day in a game with a set time limit is always so weird. i kept picking up bottles and needles even though there were no generic npcs around anymore and i sold stuff to buy food when there wasn't enough time left to die of hunger, but still held on to my weapons

no but seriously the parts where you get to see all three characters from the outside are so fun and specially at the beginning where you walk around and listen to their little argument and then seeing them at the end slumped and lifeless surrounded by the dolls !!!!!!!

the after-ending sequence is really fun but must they personally subject me, the only person in the world with coraline baggage, to the button eyes? really?

just felt the need to clarify bc imo they flattened her character in 2 and 3 looks to be headed in a similar direction so. yeah.

until i'd completed her side quest. as the bachelor i felt deeply responsible for her and thankful for her care, as a reader i just didn't find her that engaging for most of the game, though she probably would've had a much bigger impact if i'd seen her in the cathedral.

retcon: i feel like between not talking much about days 6-10 and the character opinions it looks like i didnt gaf about eva so just to be clear when i went to the stillwater and she wasnt there after sleeping somewhere else the day before i was filled with dread and i then dropped everything-

tbh i dislike 2/3rds of that household enough that i considered learning they want to use the polyhedron to temporarily house their souls to be a semi solid argument in favor of destroying it
